Subscription Policy

How it works

Choose the monthly option on the product page instead of a one-time purchase. Your first bag ships with your order, and a fresh bag follows every month at the subscriber price in effect on each renewal date, until you cancel. Everything after that — skipping an order, moving a date, cancelling — you do yourself in your account. If we change that price, we'll email you before it applies to your subscription so you can choose to continue/discontinue — see Price and product changes below.

What you save

Subscribers pay 20% less than the one-time price on every order, including the first. The discount is applied automatically at checkout and stays applied for as long as the subscription is active.

Managing your subscription

Your subscription is self-serve. Sign in at cutkitchen.com/account — there's no password to remember, we email you a sign-in code — and open Manage subscription. Every subscription email we send links to the same place. From there you can:

• Skip an upcoming order.
• Reschedule your next delivery date.
• Update the shipping address or payment method on the subscription.
• Cancel, with no fee, no phone call, and no email required.

A change applies from your next order as long as you make it before that renewal is processed — once an order has been charged, it ships. If you'd rather we made a change for you, contact us at least 5 business days before your next billing date.

Delivery schedule

Subscriptions are delivered monthly. A bag holds about 22 servings, so a monthly delivery suits roughly five servings a week. If that's more rice than you get through, skip an order or move your next delivery date in your account rather than cancelling — any time before your renewal is processed.

Billing and renewal

This is an automatically renewing subscription. By subscribing you authorize us to charge your payment method the then-current subscription price, plus applicable taxes and any shipping, once a month until you cancel.

The first charge is taken at checkout. Each renewal is charged on the same day of the following month, and we email you a confirmation once it's processed. If a month doesn't contain your renewal date, the charge falls on the last day of that month.

Cancelling

Cancel any time, in the same few clicks it took to subscribe — no phone call, no email required, no cancellation fee. Sign in at cutkitchen.com/account, open Manage subscription, and choose Cancel subscription. The cancellation takes effect immediately; you don't need to wait for us to action it.

Cancelling stops all future charges. It does not cancel an order that has already been charged; if you cancel after a renewal has been processed, that order still ships. A renewal is not covered by the Satisfaction Guarantee — that covers your first order only — but unopened bags in resellable condition can be returned within 30 days of delivery under the return terms on that page, and our Shipping terms apply as usual.

Your first order is still guaranteed

Subscribing doesn't cost you the guarantee. Your first order is covered by the same Satisfaction Guarantee as a one-time purchase — if it's not for you, contact us within 30 days of delivery and return the bags (up to two) and any remaining product for a refund of their purchase price. Cancel the subscription yourself in your account so no further orders are charged.

Shipping

Subscription orders ship on the same terms as any other order, described on the Shipping page — including free shipping on orders over $49. Shipping and taxes are calculated on each renewal at the rates in effect on that date.

Price and product changes

We may change the subscription price or the terms of the program. If we do, we'll email you before the change applies to your subscription, so you can cancel first if you'd rather not continue. Changes never apply to an order already charged.

If the product is unavailable or discontinued, we'll let you know and won't charge you for a delivery we can't make.

Failed payments

If a renewal charge is declined, we'll email you and retry over the following few days. Update your payment method yourself in your account to get the order moving. If the charge can't be completed, the subscription is cancelled and no order ships — you can restart it whenever you're ready.

Eligibility

Subscriptions are available on US orders to customers who can enter a binding contract. We may cancel and refund subscriptions we believe are being used for resale or to abuse a promotion.
