Our Story

Built for the cut.

Cut Kitchen exists for people who count their calories but refuse to count out rice. One product. Three ingredients. No compromise on the bowl.

Cut Kitchen
Why we exist

We love rice. That was the whole problem.

Rice is comfort food. It's the base of the meals we grew up on and the first thing we reach for after a hard session. But once we started paying attention to our numbers, the maths stopped working — and the substitutes we tried didn't feel like rice at all.

So we went looking for a way to keep the bowl. We found it in konjac, a Southeast Asian vegetable that's been cooked with for centuries, blended with real rice flour so it eats like the rice you actually crave — 70 calories a serving, from three ingredients you can pronounce.

Cut Kitchen is made for Cut Kitchen Foods Inc. in Vancouver, Canada, and built for anyone who wants the food they love and the numbers they're after.

Our mission

Keep the food you love on the table — and your numbers where you want them.

What we stand for.

Taste first

If it doesn't hold up in a real bowl — fried rice, curry, or straight with soy — it doesn't ship.

Three simple ingredients

Konjac, rice flour, water. That's the entire label, and it's staying that way.

Honest numbers

Every claim on the bag is one we can stand behind. No miracle promises, no fine-print games.

The numbers we sweat.

70 calories per serving
56% fewer calories than white rice*
3 simple ingredients
22 servings in every bag

*70 calories per serving versus 160 for the same serving of uncooked white rice (USDA data).

Three simple ingredients

What we hold ourselves to.

  • Plant-based, always — no animal ingredients, ever.
  • No gluten ingredients.
  • Prep that respects your time: boiling water, 15 minutes, no draining.
  • Claims we can back with data — or they don't go on the bag.
